
About This Project
Key Media started a new type of event and this was the first of its kind. They wanted to show off the unique activations and all of the things happening. They also wanted to make some money together, and they made 3x what they spent on media… And they got the media.
This was a 1-day event, Downtown Toronto at the Toronto Event Center with 2000+ attendees, 50+ vendor booths, and a full day of keynote programming with wellness breaks and entertainment in between.

The Pop Up Portrait Studio
The Key Media team has an existing ecosystem of professionals and sponsors that were planning their experiences at the Festival. They have a vast inventory of different offerings, and a Pop Up Portrait studio was one of their add ons.
By adding a Pop Up Portrait Studio, the sponsor upgraded to a slightly bigger booth, and all the people that wait in line as your business development team builds relationships. At the end, the sponsor receives an exported CSV with the list of attendees that stopped by, and the attendees receive their photos delivered to their email.
The organizer sold the Pop Up Portrait Studio for 3x more than it cost them.
The sponsor left with 200+ leads.

The Event Photos
As a result of the new found revenue, the organizer was able to offset the cost of event photography, thus the photos earned a positive ROI, and they get the assets to use indefinitely into the future.
