Parkinson Canada The Growling Beaver 2025

About This Project
Parkinson Canada asked us to provide corporate content creation for their annual fundraiser, Pedaling for Parkinson’s. We had just provided media coverage for their Superwalk in Toronto a few weeks ago. Pedaling for Parkinson’s has four nationwide cycling events; the Capital Ride, Prince Edward County Ride, Go the Distance and The Growling Beaver. The Growling Beaver is one of Parkinson Canada’s premier events, providing adventure seeking riders a challenging 160km trail (riders had an option for the shorter 100km, 60km or 40km trail) against the backdrop of the beautiful fall colors of Beaver Valley. This was an event in Collingwood that raised over $600k.

About This Project
Parkinson Canada wanted to raise awareness and critical funds for Parkinson disease through their SuperWalk event, their largest annual fundraiser. Uniting communities across Canada, they host their walks nationwide - Halifax, Saskatoon, Toronto, Vancouver, and many others - we were responsible for corporate content creation of their Toronto Superwalk. This was a 1-day event in Toronto with over 250 enthusiastic walkers and a full day of keynote speakers and entertainment in between.

Paprclips™
As part of our Corporate Content Creation, we produced Paprclips which are short form edits under one minute in length, designed for high impact distribution. Parkinson Canada ordered the 10-pack and we produced them from the event videos of Man on the Street Interviews and In-Depth Interviews.
15 second Event Recap Video
The Growling Beaver. All the energy. A main deliverable.
We delivered this vertical recap video to the client in just 48 hours. Shot with riders in motion and framed by the valley’s fantastic fall colors, this piece of event video production was designed to hit hard on mobile and stop the scroll.
Optimized for quick distribution across digital platforms, this short recap carried the ride’s energy beyond the event itself. Our crew mapped out the course in advance, staked out the perfect lookouts, but when riders unexpectedly changed routes mid-event, we adapted on the fly. By keeping pace with them by vehicle and repositioning, we were able to capture the ride from the best perspectives for impactful video marketing and corporate market creation.
90 second Event Recap Video
More story. More atmosphere. A main deliverable.
While the 15-second recap was made to stop the scroll on digital platforms, this extended event video production invites the viewer to stay. At 90 seconds, this edit has room to capture the full atmosphere of the Growling Beaver; the riders, the energy and the wins that defined the day.
Crafted for corporate content creation and video marketing, it ensures your story is told exactly the way you intend. It highlights the action, emotion and efforts of everyone involved. The message is clear: moments like these deserve more than just a snapshot, they deserve a story.
Mans on the Street
Five riders, Real Voices.
We captured man on the street video interviews with five different riders right at the event. For the Growling Beaver, our team designed quick thoughtful prompts to spark authentic conversations on the spot. The goal was to capture raw reactions, personal experiences and the spirit of the ride as it unfolded.
Unlike the polished testimonials, these event videos delivered the energy of the moment, adding a spontaneous element and creating relatable, sharable content that connected with both riders and viewers online.
From these conversations, we also produced Paprclips, which were under-one-minute edits that distilled the most impactful moments into bit-sized stories, built to drive engagement.
Same Day Social Media Stories
Social Moments. Captured in real time.
On ride day, all eyes are on your social channels. Acting quickly to post in these critical moments can maximize reach and engagement while the excitement is at its highest.
For the Growling Beaver, we produced short clips from 5 to 15 seconds in length, shot in an attendee-style POV to mimic the experience of being there. Captured in both vertical and horizontal formats, these quick videos and photos are uploaded to a drive for your team to access and post instantly across platforms.
You can think of them as elevated “influencer style” posts which are authentic, immersive and mobile focused. Designed for video marketing, they extend the spirit of the ride to audiences online.
This kind of media often gets missed, the angles aren’t captured or the photos disappear or someone’s device runs out of storage. But with us, there’s no need to worry. We deliver these attendee-style content at a professional level that showcases the energy and spirit that you can expect at the almost olympic level at the Growling Beaver.

Stock Footage. The hidden asset.
Beyond the polished deliverables, every event leaves behind a treasure trove of unused clips. For the Growling Beaver, we curated a library of stock footage that included dynamic rider passes, sponsor banners and booths and candid crowd moments. Professionally captured and archived, this material becomes a versatile toolkit for corporate content creation and video marketing long after the event is over.
It’s more than leftover footage, it's a future proof asset. Perfect for a variety of uses like social posts, promotional campaigns, sponsor decks and next year's hype videos. With stock footage, you’re able to consistently share fresh perspectives, new angles and exciting details from your event.

The ride doesn’t end at the finish line. With the right content, the story keeps going. Special thanks to Parkinson Canada for giving us the opportunity to share yours.
